Totally Wired

Totally Wired Poetry is this Wednesday at 6:30pm and will feature poetry readings by Maria Taylor.

Maria’s first collection of poems, Melanchrini, was shortlisted for the Michael Murphy Memorial Prize, and is available from Nine Arches Press.

Restless Minds contributors, including Lauren C. Terry and Peter Newman, will be making an appearance to read some poems from the anthology and some of their own poems.

Last Monday night’s Shindig! played host to poet and Litmus magazine founder Dorothy Lehane, and poet, critic and editor Andrew Duncan. Restless Minds contributors: Mark DoneClare Stevens and Lauren C. Terry headlined the Shindig! reading various poems and short stories from the anthology.

Here is our first event of 2015!

Nine Arches PressCrystal Clear Creators and the Centre for New Writing have invited us to read at their January 19th Leicester Shindig! We can confirm that Mark Done, Clare Stevens and Lauren C. Terry will be reading. Copies of Restless Minds will be on sale for £5.

Meet Jonathan Taylor

Jonathan Taylor’s books include the novel Entertaining Strangers (Salt, 2012), the memoir Take Me Home: Parkinson’s, My Father, Myself (Granta, 2007), and the short story collection, Kontakte and Other Stories (Roman Books, 2013). He lectures in Creative Writing at the University of Leicester.
