Meet Peter Newman

Peter was born in Nottingham, the youngest of seven children, and showed an interest in writing and composition from an early age. He has previously studied Philosophy, Reglion and Ethics at Heythrop College, University of London and now lives in France, where he works in the theatre company, La Joie De Grandir.

BETTER BIOGRAPHY

Peter Newman was born at a very young age on the streets of Moscow, where he was nursed by a street dog affectionately known as Baro Shero. After fourteen years making a living with a violin, crudely constructed from medical waste and a garrotte, he was discovered by a Finnish talent scout and (some say, forcefully) introduced to the fabulous life of the travelling circus. While touring in Norway, he is said to have won his independence in a daring night-time swim across the North Sea. He is out of rehab and is now entering his seventh year of office with Nottingham County Council. Despite the obvious genealogical discrepancy, he remains on good terms with Baro Shero’s 989 descendants.
